To the vast majority of the populace it is a secret, or purported to be a far-fetched conspiracy theory.
I think most of the populace doesn’t care more probably than they don’t know. Claiming a lack of knowledge is a common tactic of those who would disavow responsibility for their lack of correct action.
It should be obvious to any thinking person that the global elite exist and look after their own interests. What is not obvious to most is why they should do anything about it, whether because they believe they lack the power or because they agree with the ideas promoted by the globalists.
Convince the people that they have the power and the motive to pursue freedom for themselves, and perhaps you can make headway. Take them at their word when they claim not to know what is happening, and you will make none.
Is the American public generally ignorant, or are they indifferent or sympathetic to the globalist agenda – i.e., the systematic destruction of the Republic? Being indifferent to, condoning, or approving of this process all signify knowledge of what is happening. So is feigning ignorance. Such a person is guilty of treason in the same way that an “indifferent” bystander witnessing a murder is an accessory to murder, just as anyone who is indifferent to, condones or approves of abortion shares some of the guilt.
“Decent” German and Austrian citizens who joined the “hope and change” Nazi Party with good intentions and did not protest the subsequent actions of the Nazis are just as guilty as the Nuremberg defendants who were just “following orders.”
My point? The American public is ignorant and misinformed. They were taught revisionist history in government schools and continue to be fed lies by the media and can no longer distinguish fact from fiction.
The agenda of the globalists has never really been much of a secret. Is there an ongoing effort by a relatively tiny faction of ultra-wealthy ‘cosmopolitans’ to usher in a global regime to protect and expand their own interests? Of course.
The trouble is that how the individuals who belong to this global power elite define their interests differs substantially. They may all agree on the idea of a world government, but they do not really agree on very many of the particulars of what it should do and how it should do it.
That doesn’t make them a paranoid delusion or remove the necessity of remaining alert to their agendas and activities. But it does mean one cannot fruitfully oppose their idea of “world government” because that idea is in constant flux. It is better to be concerned with specific issues of one’s positive individual freedom, because then you are defined by what you favor, rather than what you oppose.

Yes, but the problem is that it is often necessary to focus on what we oppose, in order to properly define, contain and oppose it. Where the danger lies is in not making that subordinate to what we favor. Spending too much time on what we oppose takes away from the time we need to spend on what we support. I guess the ideal is to be so focused on what we support that by doing so what we oppose is automatically subdued by it.
I guess, that is essentially what is wrong with Conservatives today. They don’t know what they stand for.

Now they are in charge, all they can do is continue to attack, while merely going through exaggerated motions acting as if they are being productive. Such a person cannot by definition be a genuine conservative. Such a person is that most dangerous political animal – the moderate.

The GOP sweep anticipated in ’10 and ’12 will not change our course, it will only slow the speed of our demise. The cast of characters changes but the play is produced, staged and directed by the globalist ruling class. When Obama outlives his usefulness he will be replaced with another NWO puppet.
My pessimism stems from the fact there is no quick political fix. Several generations have passed through our atheistic government (read socialist) school system and literally don’t know their left from their right. The masses are satiated with bread (material goods) and circuses (electronic media). What took a generation to destroy can’t be rebuilt in a couple years.
Along the same lines, I’ve been suckered by the website Serendipity before, so I was wondering what y’all think of their analysis of the CFR.

Only if we allow it to. Stay positive, and stay focused. If you give up, then you might as well be one of them.
There does seem to be a problem with the “Read the full article” links under each entry, in that all of them lead back to the first article on any given page. The page is dynamically generated by Wordpress, so I’m not sure how to fix the problem. The links in the header of each entry are correct, so perhaps the easiest thing is to simply remove the “Read the full article” links.
Amen and Amen to that Dr. Keyes! There has never been anyone that tells it like it is, other than Dr. Keyes. Keep up the good work. I pray that the grassroots movements come to their senses. They are being preyed upon by GOP, not doubt. How long do you suppose we will continue to vote for the lesser of two evils? Both parties are in bed together. If ever there was a time for a third party, it is NOW. Wake up Tea Party! We should not fear splitting the party. God is with us, we do not need to continue to FEAR voting what God is telling us in our hearts. Vote for the candidate that God leads you to vote for. Get rid of the FEAR. The government preys on our FEAR. That is how they continue to control every aspect of our lives.

You have just said what I have been telling our elected and non-elected officials here in Cecil County Maryland. Bills and laws that do not meet the litmus test of the Constitution must be voted down or repealed. All you other comments are my thoughts as well. Thank you for your putting into words what many of us believe must be done. Just imagine if the illegal income tax were repealed, the Federal Reserve abolished, and many other intrusive and oppressive laws repealed. It would make the current stimulus effort look like what it really is.. a stupid idea of throwing good money after bad.
The battle against Progressivism must be fought, but the war must be against the source of Progressivism; that is, the inhuman greed endemic to international banking and finance; not as in class warfare, but within the contextual arena of ideas. The Globalist elite use context to skew debate and drive public perception and opinion in a controlled direction. This deceit is the root enemy of our Constitutional Republic and has been the lever behind Progressivism since 1773 or so; in other words before our Republic was even born. Our present dilemma is really no mystery. As always, Dr. Keyes says it like it is. It is clear the Founders’ belief in Divine Providence gave birth to our republic and can only be sustained through actions based on that truth. There is a direct link between the actual political and social positions of the GOP and their intention to ignore the basic tenets of the constitution. This goes much deeper than any perceived embarrassment in insisting on proof of eligibility. The long-time abandonment of that once revered document makes it illogical for these usurpers from both sides of the aisle to begin to uphold the most obvious requirements.
This abandonment is of great moral consequence. And not just moral, but legal as well. To take an oath, then violate that oath on multiple occassions, is a crime. But since most Americans are ethically androgenous, confused to their core, there is no incentive on the part of the political class to fight for what’s right. Most Americans will not have the moral authority to require their representatives to do what’s right, or else. Do we get the leadership we want or the leadership we deserve?
Paradoxically, we will continue to vote for people who say one thing while campaigning and, once elected, will do almost the exact opposite. The fact many pols have been re-elected many times indicates a false hope in change that is never coming; except for the worse. Insanity.
Dr. Keyes, as always, spot on. When I first heard of Gov. Palin, it was well before she was chosen for the V.P slot in ’08′. My first thought was that she needed to be on the ticket with you.
She means well, but I do not believe that she understands the republic’s foundation and needs some tutoring. I encourage you, as much as is within your capability, to give her that tutoring. I have sir, voted for you every time you have been on the national ballot from 2000 on, and will continue to do so.
The Governor is a fine person, but I fear that she does not hold the constitution with the reverence it demands. All bills must pass Constitutional muster before they become law. I do not believe that she would balk at that. I simply do not believe she yet has the understanding of the depth of the meaning of that requirement.
My heart would be that a new crop of patriots rise and run for the House and Senate with the vision to begin challenging every law that is on the books. If laws do not pass Constitutional muster, they must be repealed.
THAT would keep the next 10 congresses busy and allow Americans the freedom that the founders intended. Congress needs to be about the peoples business. The peoples business must be defined by the Declaration and the Constitution; nothing else. Those in Congress who believe differently are traitors to their oath and their country.
