Is Lakin’s court-martial an American ‘Dreyfus affair’?

I doubt that most people would be shocked to learn that sometimes the influence of power can interfere with and even derail the course of justice in our legal system.  Behind the scenes, a phone call from a powerful politician, or a corporate mogul often affects the actions or judgments of people whose personal ambitions they are in a position to help or hinder.  Usually though, people giving heed to such considerations have enough sense to cloak what they do with words or actions that give their corruption at least the appearance of probity.  Maybe its the tribute that vice renders to virtue.  Maybe its nothing more than self-serving prudence (the mask of honesty that facilitates corruption.) However, when court officers conclude that such hypocrisy is no longer worth the effort, things are pretty far gone.  The video featured with this post  focuses on the recent decision by Col. Denise R. ...

Planned Parenthood’s moral insanity

Daily Brief #13 The video featured on this page is a news report out of Texas about a pro-life billboard campaign just launched there by the Radiance Foundation and the Life Education Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N.).  It’s an effort to focus attention on the disproportionate number of nascent blacks being murdered in Texas under the rubric of abortion rights. What especially provoked my interest was criticism of the project from a Planned Parenthood spokeswoman quoted in the report.  “This is about trying to interfere with women making private personal decisions and unfortunately and really shockingly, this group has decided to use racism as a wedge issue,” Rochelle Tafolla said. “We think that  is just reprehensible…” So its reprehensible to focus an individual’s attention on the impact her individual action has on her community.  Could there be a more perfect illustration of Planned Parenthood’s moral insanity? In many U.S. communities today local laws encourage or even ...

Was Jesus a leader?

Daily Brief #12 “Asked who would be considered conservative Christian leaders today- with Graham in his 90s and the recent death of Jerry Falwell – Land said that “leaders are leaders because people follow them.”  So says Richard Land. Every year as we approach the commemoration of Christ’s passion, crucifixion and resurrection the people Jesus has saved recall his triumphal entry into Jerusalem. And the most part of the multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.  And the multitudes that went before him, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” Judging by the multitudes that followed him, and the words of Richard Land, in this grand triumphal entry, Jesus was a leader. But after he drove the money lenders from the Temple, confounded the ...

A Meditation on Glenn Beck’s Divine Mission

[I have been in prayerful thought about the events taking place this weekend under Glenn Beck’s auspices.  He portrays them as the beginning of a Great Revival of faith in America.  People I know and think well of are involved.  Yet I find I cannot ignore the check in my spirit that prevents me from accepting that the events or their sponsor are what he professes them to be.  This posting is an effort to lay out the elements that contribute to my misgivings, insofar as they are susceptible to articulation.  Herein I attempt to share a train of thought and the destination toward which  it points.   Is it the right one? With God’s help, time may tell.] Glenn Beck: “I mean, the one part of culture that I am doing a lot of is faith.  But general faith.  We have got to get back to our churches, our synagogues, our mosques, ...

Glenn Beck's hollow piety

As I expected, my  WND article this week has generated a remarkable reaction from readers, including a number of folks who express dismay at the fact that I (like Joseph Farah) would dare to question the sincerity of Glenn Beck's professions of respect for God just because he belittles the importance of the 'gay marriage' issue. . In answer to one such 'shame on you' email I sent the following response, which I think worth sharing here: Before wishing shame on me, it would repay your time to read what I have written on what the "gay marriage" issue involves.  If after doing so you can still accept Beck's careless disregard for God's priorities, I will still pray that God may open your eyes (as I pray for Glenn Beck). We can't defeat the so-called progressives by accepting their standards and priorities. I made no charges against Beck, as you ...

Mehlman’s gay revelation outs GOP elite's charade

Reflecting on Ken Mehlman’s revelation that he has been and is a practicing homosexual, I found myself thinking of Penelope, the wife of Homer’s Ulysses.  After the Greek victory over the Trojans, he took the long way home, so long in fact that his family pretty much gave him up for dead.  Penelope found herself besieged by suitors eager to try their hands at usurping Ulysses domain while before his son came of age to challenge them. Still loyal in hope and affection to her husband, Penelope devised the famous strategy by which she put off the day when she would be force to choose among the importunate parasites who had taken up residence in the royal compound.   She undertook to weave a shroud for the funeral of her aged father-in-law Laertes,  vowing to make her decision only after it was completed. Work on the shroud gave her the excuse to hold ...

Is ‘ruling class’ right for America?

Daily Brief #11 Having sapped the foundations of liberty for several decades, key elitist forces  are completing the emplacement of the economic and political WMD’s with which to overturn government of, by and for the people.  But thanks to the arrogance of the Obama faction, many Americans have awakened to the fact that we are in the midst of an assault against the sovereignty of the people. These Americans are praying, writing, gathering, speaking and organizing to produce what could be one of the most spectacular tidal waves of democratic revulsion this country has ever seen.  This is cause for hope and satisfaction.  But in political battle there are times when a change in language cedes victory to the enemy just as the contest reaches its tipping point. In this respect I’ve noticed that some people who seem sincerely committed to encouraging the rejection of totalitarian elitism are adopting a paradigm that ...

U.S. power elite demands rejection of Creator God?

July 19, 2010 · 11 comments

Back in 2008 I went to Des Moines, Iowa to participate in the debate among candidates for the Republican presidential nomination sponsored by the Des Moines Register. During a radio interview I was doing in that context, the interviewer made a remark (while we were chatting off air, as I recall) that came back to me today as I read Professor Angelo Codevilla’s eye-opening piece, America’s Ruling Class and the Perils of Revolution.  The interviewer bluntly observed that given my commitment to God and liberty, the GOP leadership must look upon me as a traitor to my class.

I think there are fewer people today than at the time who would fail to understand what he meant. Thanks to Professor Codevilla’s perspicacious piece, there will soon be fewer still. (I realize that ‘perspicacious’ is one of those polysyllabic words the “dumb ‘em down” stylists say we should avoid, but it exactly describes the article.)  For me, the appearance of the article seems almost Providential. I think it may help such friends and supporters as I have to understand the pressures brought to bear against my livelihood (and that of others like me) over the past several years, pressures that may shortly result in its complete collapse.

In this I will suffer consequentially the fate of America’s once uniquely large and powerful middle class. Codevilla uses the term “country class”, which I take to mean the folks more representative of the population of America as a whole. But in some ways this somewhat obscures its unique and precarious historical position. Many poorer Americans (particularly among blacks and so-called Hispanics) share certain moral convictions with the middle class, like the belief in God’s sovereignty. But many of them are now captives of the elite dominated proto-socialist state, deceptively referred to as the ‘welfare state’ in order to imply more good than it has ever done. From birth their experience leaves them with no conception of life free from dependence on the government, except perhaps what they glean from its symbiotic nemesis, the empire of drug dealing, vice-catering criminals.

The purpose and result of the Obama era is to establish the institutions (in particular, government control of access to education, health care, credit, and anything that approximates mass media) that will draw most of what was the American middle class into this state of material and psychological dependency on elitist government. In this respect Obama is a tool of the entire elite class (not just its openly leftist elements).

Like Remirro De Orca in Machiavelli’s infamous account of the statecraft of Cesare Borgia, Obama may be slated by the gray eminences of the subversive elite for a spectacular (albeit only political) execution. But for reasons that Codevilla’s analysis makes clear, this will not end or interfere with the consolidation of elite control. Indeed the beneficiary of the country’s grateful relief at the prospect his political demise is doubtless intended to be someone like Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush. They offer the same politically stupefying drug as Obama, but reformulated to reduce the chances of reflexive rejection by the not yet fully addicted body politic.

The formal consolidation of elite control also requires the demise of those like me.  Such people share certain characteristics of what Codevilla calls the ruling class, but they effectively reject its ambition to destroy the moral and constitutional provisions that are the basis for republican, democratic self-government in the United States. Especially in politics, and in the pulpits and classrooms of the nation, these “traitors to their class” must be contained and disposed of, lest the sparks of truth they scatter about catch on to reignite America’s passion for decent liberty and self-respect.

Codevilla indicates the key offense by which these traitors draw destruction upon themselves (though he gives the impression of doing so almost in passing.) “Because aggressive, intolerant secularism is the moral and intellectual basis of the ruling class’s claim to rule, resistance to that rule…must deal with secularism’s intellectual and moral core. This lies beyond the boundaries of politics as the term is commonly understood.”

The professor should perhaps have said “as the term is commonly understood today.” There was a time when theology was understood to be the “queen of the sciences”. Of course, in those days the term science included knowledge of the specifically human.  The self-worshiping and power addicted elite uses the excuse of scientific methodology first to discredit and then to eliminate the very possibility that there is anything specifically human. This they do with no warrant except studiously obscure gibberish that purports to convey conclusive insights from disciplines like epistemology, linguistics and evolutionary anthropology. Though perpetrated in the name of free inquiry and so-called scientific evolution this sacrifice of species self-consciousness is, in fact, a key tactical maneuver in the war against God.

The hallmark of the specifically human is the subjective quality of infinite meaning that each human person ascribes to his or her experience, even the experience that despairs of meaning. The sense of infinite meaning is as it were a God directed searchlight  of consciousness, fueled by the inevitable presumption that no experience of external things, however systematically accounted for, can fully take account of the inner reality of being that in every moment of conscious thought each human being grasps with certainty. This is the great ‘I am’ that succinctly refutes the priority of thought Descartes mistook for the standard of being. Whatever doubts we think we have about God’s existence, they are presumptively overcome by the assertion of being that inevitably precedes thought, and from which we conclusively draw our own being as a consequence.

We are the determinate consequence of being as such. Put in the parlance of America’s founding creed, we exist in consequence of the creative activity of another, the determinant being whose action forms and constitutes our nature, much as the dancer forms and constitutes the moments of the dance. Yet even as we are a consequence of God’s inception, we epitomize its absolute spontaneity, which is God’s freedom.  This is the model for the likeness of freedom that ultimately inspires and justifies the human claim to liberty.

There is nothing at what Codevilla calls “secularism’s intellectual and moral core” that even addresses, much less refutes, this self-evident truth. Today’s secularism, like the false religions fabricated by the oppressive rulers of mankind’s elite bedeviled past, is a baseless superstition conjured in order to quell the voice that inspires our humanity- the voice of conscience, the still, small inner voice that recalls the presence of God.

Thanks to our consciousness of that presence as the inner substance of our particular existence, human nature is the God ordained exception to His otherwise absolute rule.  This human exceptionalism gives rise to the sense of right and wrong, that encompasses our responsibility toward God’s gift of creation.  That responsibility in turn justifies the doctrine of unalienable rights and government by consent from which America derives its constitution of liberty.  Does the “ruling class” Codevilla exposes reject God in order to destroy liberty?  Or do they reject liberty in order to feel free of God?

Either way, the fools say there is no God.  What does that make a people willing to accept such fools as their leadership, or hand them unchecked power over the nation’s fate?

Hi all,
Just wanted to share some discoveries with you all!!!

YOU WILL HAVE TO FORGICE MY ABJECT DIGRESSION FROM THE COURSE OF DISCUSSION, IT IS NEEDED!!!
——————————————————————-
God bless as you read!

“The vile person shall be no more called “liberal”, nor the churl said to be bountiful.”- Isaiah 32:5

Look again:
Statue of “Liberty” Columbia Pictures mascot all depicting Lucifer.

“But all of you light fires and arm yourselves with flaming torches. So walk in your own light and among the torches you have lit. This is what you will receive from me: You will be tormented”- Isaiah 50:11

Q(1) If men are all born imperfect & bound to sin who liberated them?

Only Christ Jesus Liberates, a man can not sell his soul to Satan and believe he is free!

Reading this short write up, you will understand the real meaning of the term ‘liberty’ as it pertains to this world and how Satan has used it to lure and deceive many! Remember that according to scriptures Liberty can only be found in and through Christ Jesus and not in any man or in a world system!

This is the real definition of Liberty as it pertains to the world, a very esoteric, subtle and deceptive sense of freedom. It is so evident that the devil has a counterfeit for everything that God has made for us to partake of and enjoy. He has his own fake love gospel, his own false freedom he calls liberty (beware of liberalists/political/ideological), false government systems, false new world order, his own false christ, his own false rapture (2012 end of world which is a decoy to have you waste more time doing nothing as this lie is easier to believe and less fearful, who knows Jesus may come tomorrow), his own gospel of doom, his own fake end time scenario (arrival of Aliens)! I tell you brethren, today if you are not discerning you will surely miss the way who is Christ Jesus himself.

And no wonder, even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.- 2 Corinthians 11:14

In context the deception of the devil may look good to the worldly and undiscerning mind, In content they are obvious to the mind that is discerning and they can not find balance in the word of God! Have you ever heard the term “do as thou wilt”? What does it really mean? What does it sound like? >>Be free to do what you wish>> or be at Liberty to do what you want>> or be lawless>> or disbelieve Gods word and do yours>> or just be Godless! It definitely sounds like all to me..

Do you see how the word liberty creeps into the equation of “do as thou wilt? Do you remember what the serpent said to Eve in the garden of Eden? How he told her that
she was indeed “free” to ‘do as she wished’ and eat the fruit that was forbidden to eat? The word “Liberty” according to the mindset of those in the world means freedom from Gods word and original will for mankind. The devil has subtly succeeded in decieving many in this way so that if they are free from Gods will for them, they will perish. What is Gods will for man kind? That they live eternally according to the dominion that he has given them but Satan has trickishly free them from this will pointing them in the direction of eternal destruction and everylasting seperation from God!! ‘Oh man’ and how he is so easily decieved and led astray!!! We despise Gods laws but we do not know that in doing so we are enslaved ourselves & remain lawless before God. And this position begets a wrathful recompense!!

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.-Hosea 4:6

Indeed, God has offered us his mind to guide us to safety at all times through this life on earth, the bible also says by him should men be enriched in all knowledge and in all utterance. We are also offered the mind of God by the Spirit. Brethren and man of this world, there is great deception in the land, let us fear God. If you do not posses the mind of Christ, you will be decieved, led astray and destroyed, there is no midstanding about it.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:-Philippians 2:5

Before we go back to the talk of freedom, let me ask you, are you calling yourself a freethinker, a libertarian, an atheist, do you have a free spirit mentality, A rebel whether good or bad, do you have a lawless mindset? All these are surely traits that prove you are in rebellion against God and anything that spells authority over you and you need to be delivered from it. Gods mercy is still available for deliverance today!

About rebellion, this advice is good for the youths who call themselves Christians but say they are rebelling against “a worldly system”, calling Jesus a rebel. Jesus is not a rebel and was never! The government of men was not a higher power than the power Jesus operated in so he was not a rebel! You must understand that he was infact born an eternal King and could never be associated with rebellion in anyway!! We like Jesus are spiritually noble and since we are not below the system of the world, are free and not bound by it. So why will a Christian want to call himself a rebel of any sort? The words ‘Christian and Rebel do not agree’!

God hates rebels of any kind, wether you are rebelling against a bad government or against a good government, he hates it.

He says we should not conform to the ways of this world. why? Because we operate on a higher level than that of the world!!! And you can not rebel against something you are higher than. How so? Well, spiritually the world is subject to you, not the other way round, it was created for you and not you for it! If you were subject to the ways of the world and were bound by its rules then it will be fitting to call yourself a rebel, but you are still not free. Can a prince rebel against his subjects? Absolutely not!! So under no circumstance must a Child of God be tagged or cloaked with a term like “rebel”!!

It is subordinates who rebel not superiors!!! So pls lets leave rebellion for satan and his demons!! As children of the Most High we are too spiritually noble to be associated with rebellion of any kind! We are the children of the Almighty King and are above and not below the system or the cultures of this world!

“BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED.- Romans 4:7

Q(2) Freedom from what is Satan offering todays world?

It is a mentality that encourages freedom from an idea that there is an authority figure that we must bow to and freedom to commit sin against God, the Almighty Spiritual being who watches all our motives and requires us to do according to his will rather than our own will. Liberty as prescribed by Satan has is a dark suggestion that tries to cloud the hearts of men from the ever pervading light of the Most high Gods truth, which sets all men free from the fowler, Satans snare of death and destruction.

It is from this false mindset that the words “do as thou wilt’ was coined and is still trickishly being used to deceive mankind that he can be free from the rule and will of the almighty immortal, invisible and eternal God!

Only the almighty is free to do as he wishes, If not he can not be called God, he made laws for man and not for himself because he is perfect, righteous and sinnless, has no begining and no end, can not err and in order for imperfect man to live perfectly on this earth, we will need a manual to succeed (why liberals debunk the bible) . So the devil in order to make us fall (this is the crux of the matter) has to make us rise up to the position of God (they now say man is God) so that we too will fall like he fell to the dust. This is all a man has to do to come crumbling down and there goes America!

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.-Ezekiel 28

Now the question to ask yourself is, why are these three figures in the above pictures lifting up the light from a torch? What light is this? Who or what does this light represent?

You will remember that the original name of the one we call Satan now was Lucifer (Holder of light). Yes, when you see this symbols, you should be able to discern that wherever this symbol is seen, you know it represents Satan himself or dedication to him, living on his past glory as usual. These symbols represent Lucifer himself, as the holder of light as seen in the pictures of statue of liberty, columbia pictures mascot e.t.c! He no longer holds the true Light, he holds a false fluctuating light, the true light is within the Lambs Body now!

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.-Revelation 21:23

Q(3) Who is the Lamb? Jesus Christ our Saviour and Kinsman Redeemer!

You might call your self a “christian”, and I will agree that you are, but what christ do you follow my liberal friend? There are many false Christs but 1 original who is God, and he owns the universe.

In this world, to assume a Liberated position or such a mindset without Christ setting you free is to join the devil in rebellion against the almighty God!
Hence “Liberty” in this world is “Rebellion” against God (google freethinking or freethinkers)! No mindset in the world God created is allowed to operate outside the sphere of the leading of Gods Spirit, this was his original purpose of creating man. Talk about patience, and how God has waited to use what he has created for his own purpose for over 6 thousand years. Any one who denies that there is a God, anyone who fails to know Christ and walk according to his word, is in rebellion. Anyone who depends on procedures, a system, a government, a man, is in rebellion against God!

The devil wants these people to share in his rebellion so they too will partake of his destruction.

Do you go by the term liberalist of your own accord, or is it Christ Jesus who set you free from the shackles of sin and death in this world. Do you notice that you always have a clash with authority figures i.e Your father, your mother, your boss, your Pastor, your teachers. It is a sign that the Spirit of the anti-christ who is the spirit of rebellion possess you, flee from all such habits. Run into Christ and be truly free.

There is a God and he will not contend with man forever!!!

God bless

Paul,.. Just say it,.. for all to hear, and in this case read.

Psalms Chapter 2
1 Why do the nations protest and the peoples grumble in vain?
2 Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the LORD and his anointed:
3 “Let us break their shackles and cast off their chains!”
4 The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord derides them,
5 Then speaks to them in anger, terrifies them in wrath:
6 “I myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD, who said to me, “You are my son; today I am your father.
8 Only ask it of me, and I will make your inheritance the nations, your possession the ends of the earth.
9 With an iron rod you shall shepherd them, like a clay pot you will shatter them.”
10 And now, kings, give heed; take warning, rulers on earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear; with trembling bow down in homage, Lest God be angry and you perish from the way in a sudden blaze of anger.

Happy are all who take refuge in God!

People think that because we live in a free society, we may practice Christianity, when actually the converse is true. Because we practice Christianity we live in a free society.

Ultimately we will each act according to our most deeply held convictions. Likewise, a society will be shaped by the ideology of its members. In predominately Hindu society, for instance, there will be little compassion for the downtrodden – after all, they are merely reaping the fruits of their actions in a previous life. In the Islamic world, there exists little tolerance for opposing viewpoints – possession of a Bible is punishable by death in Saudi Arabia, for instance; even though that nation is generally considered to be a rational, modern society. Likewise Marxism is a jealous god, accepting no rivals.

“But I believe in nothing,” one might say. “I have a secular viewpoint, bound by no primitive superstition.” Even so, this person has a core ideology. After all, this person believes in and wants good things for their self. And with no outside constraint, ethics for each ‘secular’ person generally devolves into ‘what’s good for me’. This leads to a materialistic, self centered society; such as we see developing in the United States as we renounce our Christian heritage, or as we saw in the Roman world after they left Stoicism.

All of the common principles of freedom that we have come to cherish – freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc. were birthed in western Christian society. The rest of the world not only does not practice these ‘freedoms’, they do not see the advantage in practicing these freedoms. They are ‘foolishness’ to the non-Christian world.

We may judge the viability of a belief system by the merits of the society it produces. And before we run headlong to accept an ‘enlightened’ diverse viewpoint, we should examine the societies where it has been established to see where it leads – to see the conclusion of its adoption. Likewise, we should have a BETTER society in clear view before we renounce a way of life that has led us to freedom, prosperity and world hegemony.

Excellent article. I’ve often marveled at the highly sophisticated attacks the elites employ against their enemies. We certainly have a fight on our hands. Mr. Keyes you must not give up. There is nothing new under the sun and these elites have been beaten before, perhaps God will give us victory once again.

Sam: “I might also suggest that at the next opportunity – replace them with a human that does possess value and recognizes human values.”

You are exactly right. I was just reading a book from the 1920’s and the whole perception then was different. (emphasis on the moral and virtues) The emphasis was not on Federal government, “what can it do for you?”. It reminded me socialists and evolutionists, you speak of, have it so wrong. God’s design has a purpose, as do our beings and rights. This survival of the fittest theology cannot be the way its intended to be, though they claim otherwise. That seems a destructive not constructive road to progress. (I mean that word in its real form for humanity)

Notice that today it is rare for one’s word be h/her bond. That is meaningless, old-fashioned; it’s only what is in the contract’s fine print that matters. The “buyer beware” today; everything you do is “at your own risk”. I mean the honor system is replaced with legalism.( tested often, wherever you can) And stranger yet was people built relationships for keeps then, not for temporary convenience. So this whole survival of the fittest – for advocates of the philosophy – tends to be a very risky and iffy proposition.

The Secular classification of existance is the present scene that can be appreciated by the senses. This vision of existance is based on the philosophy derived from evolutionary theory and it’s maxim, ” The survival of the fittest “. Thus they excuse their total lack of recognition of any human of value and any human value outside of their own. This would seem to indicate that they consider themselves as coming from nowhere and have not value. ” He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool, Shun Him! ”

I might also suggest that at the next opportunity – replace them with a human that does possess value and recognizes human values.
