Can conservatives repel the Romney Wing’s passive aggression?

Judging by the response I’m getting to my suggested approach to the 2012 election, more than  a few people now realize that America’s political process is currently in the grip of an elitist clique.  They realize that the so-called choice offered by the sham twin party system is exactly what I predicted it would be after the Florida GOP primary in May, when I wrote:

in November’s Presidential election the elite faction’s sham party system will offer American voters the choice between a Democrat lying in order to force anti-American socialism on the nation and a Republican lying in order to hide the role he proudly played in imposing anti-American socialism in Massachusetts.

Practically every day now, emails from freshly disgruntled conservatives turn up in my inbox.  The progenitor of one self-styled Tea Party internet site (Judson Phillips) says of Mitt Romney “Every time we turn around, he does it again…. We want taxes cut.  We want spending cut.…We want Obamacare repealed.  Romney told CBS in an interview that he is not going to cut taxes for those in the “upper income brackets” and he will keep parts of Obamacare.”  Richard Viguerie, a key innovator of strategies for the grassroots fundraising and mobilization that lifted Ronald Reagan to the Presidency, wrote an email saying: “…the GOP establishment, firm in its belief that the only way to win is to run a content-free campaign, and uncomfortable talking about matters such as abortion, that rarely enter the conversation at the country club, appears prepared to once again cede the high ground in the culture wars to the Democrats…Governor Romney, as well as inside-the-Beltway-consultants who run his campaign, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, Washington’s GOP insiders, and Republican congressional leaders – none of them are going to engage the Democrats on the radical social agenda that came out of the Democratic National Convention.”

These complaints recognize that the GOP wing of the elitist faction, (the Romney Wing for short), is pursuing an electoral strategy that tacitly repudiates and betrays the principled, forthright conservatism of the GOP platform.  But both of the complainers have also signed on to the “we have no choice but Romney” approach to the November election.  We have no choice but to vote for someone who will tinker with socialism rather than reject it.  We have no choice but to replace the Obama faction’s rejection of the God-acknowledging principles of America’s Declaration of Independence with the Romney Wing’s deceitfully disguised, de facto surrender to that rejection, especially when it comes to defending innocent human life or the God-endowed natural rights of the family.

The ancient Carthaginian military strategist, Hannibal, was famous for maneuvering his opponents into ambushes, such that his threatened or actual attacks from one direction drove his adversaries toward the hidden forces he had positioned to annihilate them.  The elitist faction political strategists in America today have improved upon Hannibal’s concept to this extent: the forces poised to destroy America’s liberty are hidden in plain sight. They open occupy positions that deny real conservatives the vantage points from which to attack their opponents.  Thus ensconced, simply by doing and saying nothing the Romney Wing assures victory for the God-rejecting socialist elitists who are determined to annihilate the American Republic.  As far as real conservatives are concerned, the Romney Wing represents our adversary’s forces of passive aggression.

Nothing that leaves the Romney Wing in undisputed command of vantage points needed for the defense of liberty does anything to defeat the strategy of the elitists bent on destroying it.  The notion that conservatives “buy time” by voting to elect Romney to the high advantage point of the White House is a self-defeating strategic delusion. It plays fatally into the hands of the adversary’s set-up.

Only one response has any hope of turning the situation around.  Because they are hidden in plain sight, the emplacements occupied by the adversary’s forces of passive aggression are easily identified.  Some are positioned to take advantage of the cover provided by the language of the GOP platform.  On this account, however, the Platform offers a readily available and highly visible rallying point for grassroots conservatives throughout the country.  By concentrating all the conservatives votes we can on capturing the vantage points marked out by the Platform, conservatives can occupy institutional positions from which to launch pro-active moves to counter the elitist faction forces that would otherwise overwhelm them.  The most obvious and important of these institutional positions is the Congress of the United States.  But a consolidated conservative vote for every Republican on the ticket whose record does not forbid us to believe that they adhere to the GOP Platform is likely to capture such institutional vantage points at every level of government.

The success of this strategy for real conservatism depends on refusing to vote for both Obama and Mitt Romney.  There must be a starkly discernible difference between the number of votes cast for Romney (whether he wins or loses) and the larger number of votes cast for those presumed to stand on the conservative planks of the GOP’s Platform. Otherwise, the Romney Republicans will claim a victorious outcome in Romney’s name.  This will validate the Romney Wing’s passive aggressive surrender to the God-rejecting socialism his campaign undeniably represents.  Real conservatism will be set firmly on the path of extinction.

Leaders like Judson Phillips and Richard Viguerie have tragically given in to the “We have no choice” mentality which secures victory for the God-rejecting socialist elitists.  Sincere conservative grassroots voters should not succumb to their tragic delusion.  The “Platform Republican” approach can empower people publicly committed (by their assumed adherence to the GOP Platform) to defending the Republic.  It can place under their control institutions Constitutionally equipped with all the tools needed for this defense, including especially the Congress of the United States.   And it will do so in a way that rejects the barely disguised elitist faction allegiance of the Romney Wing, while re-enforcing the political will of the ‘Platform Republicans.”  The gap between the vote the Platform receives, and the vote cast for Mitt Romney will leave no doubt that the political mandate given to the rest of the GOP ticket backs the conservatism of the GOP Platform, not the false flag conservatism of the GOP nominee.  Whether Romney wins or loses this will embolden real conservatives to devise,  and with courage pursue, an agenda that rolls back the advances of God-rejecting socialist elitism.

[WILL YOU SAY NO TO OBAMA? WILL YOU SAY NO TO ROMNEY? WILL YOU SAY NO TO SOCIALISM, WHATEVER PARTY LABEL IT WEARS?  WILL YOU JOIN IN GIVING AN UNMISTAKABLE, VISIBLE POLITICAL MANDATE TO THE GOP’S “PLATFORM REPUBLICANS”?  IF YOU WILL CONSIDER THE “PLATFORM REPUBLICAN” VOTER STRATEGY FOR THE 2012 ELECTION, JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL AT ALAN@LOYALTOLIBERTY.COM. PUT “YES I WILL” IN THE SUBJECT LINE. NO FURTHER MESSAGE IS NEEDED.  OF COURSE YOUR ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS AND SUGGESTIONS WILL BE WELCOMED. AS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS APPROACH DEVELOPS, I’LL SEND EMAIL UPDATES TO THE REPLY ADDRESS YOU USE. ALSO, PLEASE SHARE THIS IDEA WITH OTHERS SO THEY CAN CONSIDER IT FOR THEMSELVES.]

The GOP platform is messed up. If that party replaced all of the planks
with one, “We do solemnly swear to RESTORE, Protect and Defend the
Constitution of the United States to the best of our abilities, so help
us God”, which would necessarily include ending the two party sham and
perversion of the separation of powers, they could be worthy trust and
of support. Godspeed Dr. Alan Keyes and Mr. Tom Hoefling.

A full Amen and then some! Someone wrote me recently and admitted that none is so blind than one who cannot listen and understand what is right in front of them. Let the “light” continue to burn bright, even when darkness calls for the bushel to hide it.

The many page Republican platform says some good things but compromises on fundamental points concerning the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. It is better to evaluate the candidates on the basis of their adherence to fundamental American principles.

    Dr. Keyes,

    A) Even if the GOP platform was perfect, there is no desire, nor mechanism, to enforce it in their party. It is thoroughly ignored by virtually all of their “leaders.” At best, it is busywork for conservatives.

    B) The new rules imposed in Tampa assure that this will be the case into the foreseeable future. Romney Republicans locked down their new acquisition thoroughly and completely. From now on, any delegates not approved by them will be kicked out of the entire process, including the platform process.

    C) Their platform has been made thoroughly immoral and unconstitutional anyway by the inclusion of applause for a laundry list of immoral, unconstitutional legislation that ends with “and then they can kill the baby.” They have also created two new subclasses of human persons: “pain-capable unborn children,” and non-“pain-capable unborn children,” the latter which can be killed by the abortionists.

They have also joined Obama in calling for the carving out of another Arab state out of the torso of Israel.

In closing, the GOP platform is NOT a place to which I want to rally anyone. That ground is already fully occupied by forces that are completely hostile to everything we have fought for these many years..

    Respectfully,

    Tom Hoefling
