Obama’s War on Conscience

    I was praying that you and Duncan Hunter would have been on our ticket in 2008.  Thank you for all you have done to help save our wonderful country.

    Dr. Keyes, I saw this excellent speech the other day and wrote down some of the wonderful things you said. Here is what I copied.

    “Liberty is not the first purpose of government. The first purpose of government, stated in the Declaration of Independence, is to secure the unalienable rights, which have come to our humanity from the hand of almighty God!”

    And this gem:

    “Before you can enslave a people, you must destroy their sense of right and wrong. For those who cannot distinguish right from wrong will not have the courage to stand for what is right!”

    My dad heard you in a 2000 presidential debate and he said he liked you so much better than Bush. I can only imagine if the press had given you the press you so richly deserved, you would have been president instead of Bush, and we would not be in this mess now.

    There is not another public figure that is as good on the Constitution as you are. God bless you sir!
