Trading liberty for tyranny

This is the link to my latest article at WND.com.

I also want to call your attention to a new addition to the Alan Keyes videos menu.  I’ve posted the unedited recording of the speech I gave to a pre-rally breakfast before the Tea Party rally in Pittsburgh in April, 2008.

    Be prepared.

If you place your trust in man, you will find only betrayal in the end.

It’s no wonder the educational system has been demolished. It is easier to fool the uneducated. As a matter of fact, just this morning there was a program where it was reported one particular school district wanted to teach American history starting with the year 1877. How so very convenient to eliminate any mention of our founders and the Constitution itself, let alone the civil war. Combined with compromised Christian beliefs, the die is cast. Not only is the law of the land ignored, but the laws of God are mocked.

How does the saying go? If you don’t know where you’ve been how can you know where you are going? And does this ignorance not explain how politicians can tell bald faced lies, like our pathological usurper-in-chief? I, too, still have hope. Hope that we can turn this around. If for no other reason than the alternative is far too ghastly to contemplate. Don’t forget, national socialists have a tendency to cull the “less desirable” among us, including those who have the audacity to stand up to them.

Well put, Gilbertabrett! If we who agree with Dr. Alan Keyes would begin now to get others to go to this site, and listen to as well as read what he has to say, I think that would be the beginning of REAL hope. Character DOES matter, having good moral values DOES matter, and having intelligence and common sense, and listening to and not ignoring the natural law must be basic-all of these components should be the make up of any person desirous of becoming president. Dr. Keyes more than fills the bill. If America had any intelligence, he would have been president the first time he ran for the office. In this day and age that is a really big “if”. America seems to be waking up now, but, after so many years of being “dumbed down”, can we wise up fast enough?? Please God, have mercy on America.

Well I HOPE we get our say. Hope is still an alright word to use, eh?

I am not sure if people can stay awake that long in our country anymore. I mean the world stopped today to hear Tiger Woods READ a contrived piece of baloney so he could go back to work and continue being whatever kind of a man he THINKS he is. WHO is Tiger Woods? A little man that hits little balls with a metal stick. Wow… What a monumental person… I am so impressed… Puke…

The more I see and read of the United States in my lifetime, the more I see Rome. I don’t think the majority of Americans are knowledgeable, much less wise enough, to determine what kind of person should represent them in a government like ours. Most people in this country still think we are a democracy and do not KNOW WHAT a republic is.

Just looking at the video you have on the home page made me realize just how many of the Republicans are dumb as a box of rocks. I am sorry I ever belonged to such a misrepresentation of my beliefs. They remind me of vultures and are most certainly spineless cowards. They are not even capable of putting forth an agenda without the entertainment industry’s (“conservative talk radio”) leading. SAD…

I got a kick out of your spunk in that video, Dr. Keyes. I would have liked to have walked over to that woman and taken HER microphone. The looks on your face were priceless. Watching the people’s reactions on the graph really helps one to see why we are in the state we are in in this country, and WHY we will remain that way.

The only REAL hope is if people actually DO wake up and open their eyes. That is MY hope.
